Show Services Related to Invoice

Under Consideration

From the client invoice page, it would be helpful to see what services are related to each invoice. This will help assist the customer in making sure that they are paying the correct invoice for the service they wish to renew. The current method is to click on each invoice and view the PDF version. Then they have to make sure they click the correct one to pay after viewing the PDF. This has resulted in some invoices being paid incorrectly and the staff spending time to re-apply the payment transactions.

Which invoice page do you mean? If it's the one I'm thinking of when a client goes to pay an invoice, the line items should be shown. When Blesta generates invoices for recurring services, the line item includes the Package Name and the service label. The label would be the domain in the example of a domain or hosting service, so it should be clear what service it is for.

Separately we are going to release an update that allows Viewing an HTML version of the invoice instead of having to download the PDF, which will show the same information. Maybe that will satisfy this request? That should be in version 5.11 per CORE-3762, the feature is in review.

From the client page, when they view invoices it does not give them any detail as to what service it is related to. When they click on the carrat symbol it will just show the related transactions.

This is an example of what is seen from their page: https://ibb.co/3MR9vdD

The expand area there is only for applied transactions, not for details about the invoice. You should see service details if you click the Pay button, but under that button menu we will be adding an HTML invoice in addition to the PDF version.

It is really time consuming to click on 'Pay' for every invoice just to see the details behind the invoice. This information should be more clearly presented to the end user. We have users with 10s of invoices per month and making them click through each time is starting to annoy them.
