CORE-2058 Advanced service renewals

This is already on the list and it's on the short term list but it would be great to see it assigned for a version coming soon. I now it was a hot topic when it was first proposed and it's one we'd still like to have sooner than later.

I like this idea

This would allow a client to renew their service(s) before the actual renewal date

yes, it was already requested , but until now no progress, really this is a must have option .

we have tried to make a plugin for it , but we found that we need to do some modification in core files, so we have stopped the work .

I know there was strong support for it initially so hopefully that support continues and it makes it into one of the 4.x early versions.

Seems to go hand in hand with the ability to generate a renewal invoice before it would've been automatically generated.

Please any progress in this feature. Now really is trivial . if we can achieve this task by plugin, we will do it, but this need to change core files .

Definitely! Some clients just want to pay right away everything and actually not allowing them to do that from the get-go is a bad business decision. By them paying in advance you make sure they don't go somewhere else with that money!
