Openprovider started a domains module that is licensed under MIT License. ( https://github.com/openprovider/openprovider-domains-blesta )
Sadly they recently stopped active development on it.
Maybe the blesta team wants to provide a viable alternative to the current namesilo module.

We took over the integration and we ship the module with Blesta.
