We would like to see a feature where Blesta would pass any sales taxes charged through to Stripe as a metadata field. Reason for this is because Xero (our accounting software) automatically pulls from Stripe and separates associated taxes from the total amount, meaning less manual work needed on our part when it comes to fiscal year-end.
From my limited understanding implementing this would only require the simple addition of a metadata field to the transaction API call. https://stripe.com/docs/api/metadata
Alternatively Stripe also offers this API specifically for sales taxes, which I'm unsure whether this would be the action part that needs to be implemented. https://stripe.com/docs/tax/custom
