HTTP(S) Endpoints for incoming email

Under Consideration

Some of us host our SMTP servers on different hardware to our HTTP(S) server meaning we are currently limited to either POP or IMAP handling of incoming emails to our support desk.

Implementing HTTP(S) Endpoints would allow us to directly pipe an email into our support desk, without the added cost of extra email accounts, just like we can if we host our SMTP server on the same hardware as our HTTP(S) server.

This will also allow us to use externally hosted services such as SES, SendGrid, Postal Server, along with a whole host of other 3rd party solutions.
