I know this is not new, seen so many who are asking this (offering shared hosting products).
I know there is already a feature called Domain and others.
But still not quite a solution.
Example:
>Creating a zero priced domain for domain and others cannot be auto provisioned since client may remove hosting product leaving a free domain for checkout.
>Using the coupon method is also risky, client may remove the domain before checkout having a greatly discounted hosting - still not for auto provisioning
>Add-on (this one I think is the best way) the only problem is, domain as add-on does not have a button for checking availability (for new registration) or transfer
I think the easiest path is in the use of add-on - free domain with domain checker and transfer button upon order.
I like this idea
This is almost basic requirement with all current shared hosting offers and it should be implemented as current ways are not very full proof.
It would be nice to have the option to do free domain or discounted domain with a hosting package
Offering a free domain is an essential feature that Blesta is missing till now,. Please give it highest priority.
Hosting/VPS/Dedicated Server plans include one free domain registration, or domain registration transfer, for one year! Simply select a Trems plan and add your domain name during checkout.
Is the domain typically free for the first term, and then charged after that or is it always free with the hosting? Is it just a 1 year term that is free and the client cannot select other terms? What about TLDs that have a minimum 2 year registration period?

Thank you for considering it. In my case, it could be a free domain bundled with a shared hosting (free domain recurring with the bundled hosting). But having an option of giving it free for 1 year would be a very nice additional feature too :)
Do we force only 1 year registrations for the free domain? What about TLDs with min 2 year registrations?
*admin can select what term/s will free domain will be applied (ex. applicable only for orders with annual term or biennial, etc.).
*admin can also set what domain extension/s (tlds) are available as free domain
Is the free domain for the first year or as long as the hosting is active?
*ability to select if it will be applied for 1 billing cycle only and domain will have regular price after OR make it free as long as the product is renewed
How can we tell if the hosting is active?
*i think its possible since, hosting has hostname/domain field, so both can be linked together

There is one solution that should work for mast cases.
- "Define a Main Package" (ie: domain - example.com)
- "Define a list of "Receiver" packages. (ie: webhosting - micro)
When ordering the"Main" and "Receiver" package at the same time, apply a 100% discount to the "Receiver" package. If the "Main" package gets cancelled, remove the discount at the next renewal date.
Order Flow is similar to "addon-packages" but selection cannot be skipped.
Any idea, when this is going to be ready?
I am waiting for this impatiently. They included in the 5.7.0-b1 but they moved it to 5.8.0-b1 now which means more delay on this.
this is a real must I guess for 80% of hosting companies. Hard to understand why keep on delaying
